ICL is looking for a full-time IOT Product Engineer who shall be a key player in managing IOT and various solutions deployment and implementation for its customers. The person shall also be responsible for leading the company’s IOT product development strategy.
responsibilities
Designing, developing, and managing activities from product definition & planning to market deployment for IOT products.
Development, customisation and support on ICL IOT platform.
Developing software interface for IOT sensors.
Testing and research on IOT systems and sensors.
Customer requirement and business objective gathering.
Analysing product performance and redesigning as required.
Working cross-functionally with sales and service delivery teams to ensure timely and quality deployment of product and services.
Responsible to design market need documents.
Market research and analysis for new products and services.
Technical guru for IOT, software and systems offered by ICL.
General requirements
- API integration through multiple programming languages (Depending on API interface)
- Innovative thinking and at ease with new technologies.
- Open for new graduates or 1-2 years of working experience within the IOT sector.
- Have proven knowhow with software, hardware (Sensors) and system deployment would be an advantage.
- Technically savvy with networking equipment and sensors.
- Ability to understand technical and functional requirements.
- Understanding product lifecycle management and Project management.
Qualifications
BSc in Information Technology, BEng Mechatronics, BSc in Computer Science, BSc in Computer Applications or equivalent. A Master’s degree would be an added value.
Open for new graduates with 1-2 years of proven experience working with IOT products or software services.
